About Us

The WAW Community Trust (the Trust) is a registered charity and maintains a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status. All donations made to the Trust over $2.00 are tax deductible.

The purpose of the Trust is to facilitate and accept donations for community and charitable purposes, as determined by the Trustee from time to time.

The Trustee controlling the Trust is the WAW Community Fund Pty Ltd.

The Trust was established by BankWAW to assist the communities we serve. The Trust is highly regulated and one hundred per cent of funds raised are donated to the respective causes. BankWAW covers any costs associated with running the Trust, including annual audit and compliance expenses.

Our secure online donations platform makes supporting local charities convenient from everyone. Donors do not need to be BankWAW customers, or based in the local region.

You can make a donation using a Visa card or MasterCard or via direct credit from any bank account.

Most notably, the Trust raises funds for Latipsoh, a BankWAW initiative that has been supporting our local health services since 2002 and has raised over $1 million in donations to date.

From time to time, the Trust may collect donations for other causes, which are featured on the home page during the active fundraising period.
